Thom Glen Crowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Ramsey having to interfere. Brian Ramsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brion McBjarton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th match minute, Nolagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beothach Delaney to maneuver through the defense. With 14 minutes on the clock, Shea Todd commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 14 minutes into the game, one of Monasteroris FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Monasteroris FC:s Brian Ramsey showed great skill when he stopped Conaill McAaron:s penalty. After 16 minutes of play, Nolagh's Conaill McAaron made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brian Ramsey was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Monasteroris FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Aodh Johnson hit a great ball. Ciarán Todd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brian Ramsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dónal McPeter, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Ciarán Todd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Loughlin McWillie made a huge save. Ciarán Todd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Loughlin McWillie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brion McBjarton charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brion McBjarton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brion McBjarton kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Brian Ramsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brion McBjarton in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brion McBjarton in the 36th minute of play forced Monasteroris FC's goalkeeper Brian Ramsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Ramsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dónal McPeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Dónal McPeter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Ramsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciarán Todd was the one to do the kick off. In the 78th minute, Roordan Rutherford ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brian Ramsey was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 88 minutes into the match, Nolagh's goal looked a bit too open when Ciarán Todd came free, but Loughlin McWillie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Ramsey made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Thom Glen Crowe sent off a good shot on target. Beothach Delaney kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
