Bradner Caffrey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boroimhe Hunt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Reamann McNamara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 14 minutes into the game, Corey McGlynn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belclare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clon the free kick. The supporters of Clon booed when Belclare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corey McGlynn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15th minute, Berkeley Cronin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torrey McBrandon was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Clon's Boroimhe Hunt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory Martyn in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Belclare's goalkeeper Torrey McBrandon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Belclare's goal looked a bit too open when Tyrone Lester came free, but Torrey McBrandon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Belclare's Don Rutherford got a free kick in the 36th minute. Bradner Caffrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Boroimhe Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reamann McNamara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reamann McNamara was the one to do the kick off. Torrey McBrandon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berkeley Cronin, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toran Matthews during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Toran Matthews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Bressal Dillon had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 59 played minutes Belclare got a freekick which was hit by Don Rutherford. Rory Martyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Boroimhe Hunt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 68th play minutes Bradner Caffrey shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Boroimhe Hunt and just under the crossbar into goal. Bradner Caffrey's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute, Boroimhe Hunt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Clon's zone, Rory Martyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boroimhe Hunt came out of the goal and Rory Martyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rory Martyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Belclare booed when Clon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cianán McCollion didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boroimhe Hunt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rory Martyn in the 87th minute of the match. A hard shot 89 in the game by Bradner Caffrey from a close distance when the talented Boroimhe Hunt managed to make a qualified save. Clon's players were relieved. Berkeley Cronin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
