After 9 minutes, Ryon Callaghan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monasteroris FC and the Clogga players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Monasteroris FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ryon Callaghan hit a great ball. Bras Dillon charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bras Dillon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Monasteroris FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bras Dillon to maneuver through the defense. Clogga's Banban McTommy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciarán Todd in the 21st minute of play. When Ciarán Todd came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Monasteroris FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciarán Todd couldn't finish the play. Ryon Callaghan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Banban McTommy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciarán Todd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Bras Dillon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciarán Todd in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Banban McTommy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Clogga's goalkeeper Banban McTommy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ryon Callaghan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Banban McTommy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ryon Callaghan struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Banban McTommy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monasteroris FC. After a rather tough play, Clogga's Bercnan Dimson got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Monasteroris FC's Ciarán Todd slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Banban McTommy. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. In the 68th minute Dermot Dunne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Ramsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Ramsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brak Hutton in the 73rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Monasteroris FC's Ciarán Todd slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Banban McTommy. That made the score 0-3 after 76 minutes of play. In the 82nd minute, Bras Dillon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peyton Byrne hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Ciarán Todd hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Monasteroris FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
