Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Roordan Rutherford made the kick off which started today's match. After having played for 4 minutes, Beamard Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tawny AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beamard Robinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thom Glen Crowe got free with Enda McFrancise in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Loughlin McWillie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duff Costello in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Nolagh getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Dónal McPeter hit a great ball. Brion McBjarton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enda McFrancise having to interfere. Duff Costello scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Loughlin McWillie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Roordan Rutherford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nolagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Roordan Rutherford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enda McFrancise breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Beamard Robinson might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loughlin McWillie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Beamard Robinson ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Nolagh's zone, Duff Costello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loughlin McWillie came out of the goal and Duff Costello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tawny AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Pawd Colwell hit a great ball. In the 40th minute of the match Conaill McAaron shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enda McFrancise showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Enda McFrancise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roordan Rutherford in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Tawny AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Donahue McLiam made the kick off in the second half. Conaill McAaron took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Enda McFrancise. Tawny AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Enda McFrancise showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thom Glen Crowe in the 59th minute of the match. Loughlin McWillie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donahue McLiam, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Duff Costello took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Loughlin McWillie to make any attempt to save it. Enda McFrancise came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nolagh's Thom Glen Crowe. But to his dismay, Thom Glen Crowe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After 78 minutes, Dónal McPeter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nolagh and the Tawny AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, Nolagh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dónal McPeter to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute, Duff Costello reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Loughlin McWillie. The goal made the score 1-3. Donahue McLiam's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Loughlin McWillie skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Enda McFrancise showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roordan Rutherford, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The supporters of Nolagh booed when Tawny AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin McGlynn didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tawny AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
