Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) George McIan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roordan Rutherford in the 3rd minute. In the 3rd match minute, Lugnadeffa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyne McWillie to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Nolagh's George McIan threw himself towards the right post 4 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Roordan Rutherford, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 10 played minutes Nolagh got a freekick which was hit by Conaill McAaron. Nolagh's Loughlin McWillie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piers Martyn in the 13th minute of play. Rowen Todd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Rowen Todd made a precise shot to the right of Loughlin McWillie. Nolagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Loughlin McWillie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piers Martyn in the 20th minute of play. Lugnadeffa's George McIan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Lugnadeffa from getting a goal against them. When Roordan Rutherford came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Nolagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roordan Rutherford couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Dónal McPeter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nolagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Dónal McPeter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. George McIan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Piers Martyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Loughlin McWillie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loughlin McWillie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piers Martyn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Piers Martyn took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loughlin McWillie. Loughlin McWillie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Piers Martyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Nolagh's goal looked a bit too open when Rowen Todd came free, but Loughlin McWillie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Dónal McPeter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nolagh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lugnadeffa the free kick. After 38 played minutes Nolagh got a freekick which was hit by Dónal McPeter. Loughlin McWillie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piers Martyn in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Piers Martyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loughlin McWillie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thom Glen Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. George McIan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Piers Martyn to make the kick off. Roordan Rutherford blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George McIan having to make a save. Rowen Todd blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loughlin McWillie having to make a save. Loughlin McWillie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rowen Todd in the 57th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piers Martyn in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Loughlin McWillie saved Nolagh from getting behind. Piers Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loughlin McWillie having to interfere. Rowen Todd recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nolagh's Thom Glen Crowe got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 68th minute Roordan Rutherford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George McIan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Thom Glen Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lugnadeffa's Donal Mulvihill got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Loughlin McWillie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piers Martyn in the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Piers Martyn made a precise shot to the right of Loughlin McWillie. Nolagh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Piers Martyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rowen Todd's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Loughlin McWillie skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the Nolagh defense, Rowen Todd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loughlin McWillie. The Nolagh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loughlin McWillie should have stopped the shot. Nolagh's Loughlin McWillie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Nolagh from getting a goal against them. Lugnadeffa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
