With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dugan McDonald in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Casey McWill saved Drumbrollisk from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brenan Caffrey got free with Casey McWill in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Drumbrollisk's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Gordon Gollogley scored to the left of an out of position Casey McWill, making the score, 2-1. In the 42nd minute, Artuir McTommy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Dugan McDonald took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Casey McWill to make any attempt to save it. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dugan McDonald to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Drumbrollisk's zone, Blanaid Dimson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casey McWill came out of the goal and Blanaid Dimson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes of play, Kilronan's Brenan Caffrey made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casey McWill was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Dugan McDonald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Casey McWill was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Blanaid Dimson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Casey McWill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Kilronan booed when Drumbrollisk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Lester didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torran Palmer came free in the 69th minute and tried to tip the ball over Casey McWill, but to the joy of Drumbrollisk's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Dugan McDonald put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Casey McWill. The supporters of Drumbrollisk booed when Kilronan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dugan McBrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Lester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Drumbrollisk booed when Kilronan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patraic Caffrey didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Kilronan's Bow Colwell got control of the ball when Artuir McTommy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beltany John lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Drumbrollisk:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kilronan:s goal. Torran Palmer shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Dugan McBrand fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kilronan's protests and gave Dugan McBrand a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Kilronan getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Dugan McBrand hit a great ball. When Dugan McBrand was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 99 minutes had been played. Kilronan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
