Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Breannain Hutton kicked off to start the match. Seán Gough hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Donavon Dunne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Tobin Matthews tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Todd Quinnless got free with Richard Taylor in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Todd Quinnless had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fintan Horgan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. When Breannain Hutton came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Tromra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breannain Hutton couldn't finish the play. Donavon Dunne scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tobin Matthews, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tobin Matthews showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derry McFrank in the 26th minute of the match. Tobin Matthews made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derry McFrank in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Killina booed when Tromra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dolan McTommy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Donavon Dunne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tromra's Tobin Matthews was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Tromra's Emmet Mulvihill got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Derry McFrank managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killina's supporters rose to their feet, but Derry McFrank was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tobin Matthews breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Derry McFrank fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobin Matthews having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donavon Dunne to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Conn Mullan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Todd Quinnless ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Richard Taylor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Derry McFrank could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Tobin Matthews made a huge save. If Todd Quinnless had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Killina's Boylan McBrandon got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Killina defense, Breannain Hutton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Taylor. The Killina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Taylor should have stopped the shot. If Breannain Hutton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87thth minute of the game Todd Quinnless who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Killina's Richard Taylor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Killina's Bartley McLiam got a free kick in the 94th minute. A collision led to Killina getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Boylan McBrandon hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Tromra's Dolan McTommy broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
