The audience was convinced that Dugan McDonald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harry Johnson was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. 24 minutes into the match, Belalt FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dugan McDonald came free, but Harry Johnson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dugan McDonald in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harry Johnson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 37 in the game by Dugan McDonald from a close distance when the talented Harry Johnson managed to make a qualified save. Belalt FC's players were relieved. Blanaid Dimson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42ndth minute of the game Dugan McDonald who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belalt FC's Harry Johnson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dugan McDonald did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Harry Johnson 43 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Beatty Ryan made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Dugan McDonald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Harry Johnson was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Kilronan's Gordon Gollogley got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Beatty Ryan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bow Colwell. That made the score 6-1 in the 68 minute of play. After 71 minutes, Dugan McDonald made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Belalt FC's Harry Johnson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Harry Johnson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dugan McDonald in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dugan McDonald in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harry Johnson saved Belalt FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brenan Caffrey in the 80th minute of play forced Belalt FC's goalkeeper Harry Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kilronan's Dugan McDonald in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gordon Gollogley in the 93rd minute of play forced Belalt FC's goalkeeper Harry Johnson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joshua Grant's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harry Johnson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Kilronan fully deserved thier win.
