Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bran Martyn started the match with the kick off. In the 9th minute, Todd Quinnless reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Peter Bayes. The goal made the score 1-0. Peter Bayes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breannain Hutton in the 21st minute of the match. With a little luck, Farranavarra's Peter Bayes got control of the ball when Robin Mullan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joseph McAaron took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobin Matthews. Tobin Matthews dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After 30 minutes, Emmet Mulvihill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tromra and the Farranavarra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emmet Mulvihill hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Bran Martyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Breannain Hutton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Peter Bayes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Bayes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breannain Hutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Joseph McAaron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A very good chance for a goal. 45 minutes into the game, Bran Martyn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Tobin Matthews was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Breannain Hutton made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Farranavarra's zone, Todd Quinnless stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Bayes came out of the goal and Todd Quinnless tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Farranavarra's Bran Martyn got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Farranavarra getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Conan McPhilip hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tromra's zone, Bran Martyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobin Matthews came out of the goal and Bran Martyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Tromra's Robin Mullan got a free kick in the 65th minute. Tromra's Tobin Matthews played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bran Martyn in the 74th minute of play. Todd Quinnless blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Peter Bayes having to make a save. With a little luck, Tromra's Tobin Matthews got control of the ball when Joseph McAaron tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tromra's Tobin Matthews played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bran Martyn in the 81st minute of play. In the 85th minute Farranavarra were awarded a corner. Cacey McJohnny went to the cornerflag to take it. Tathan McWill made a great header on Farranavarra's corner, it was just that Tromra's Tobin Matthews managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 86th match minute, Tromra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Todd Quinnless to maneuver through the defense. Tobin Matthews made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joseph McAaron in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Farranavarra's Braonain Harkin got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Farranavarra booed when Tromra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breslin Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Farranavarra players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
