Darby Kelly came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballinakill AFC's Boyce Todd. But to his dismay, Boyce Todd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Lisdoonvarna booed when Ballinakill AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brine Glen Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gearóid McWilliam was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 10th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 13 minutes, Beara McPeter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lisdoonvarna and the Ballinakill AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 20 minutes, Breed Branson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lisdoonvarna and the Ballinakill AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Breed Branson kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Baydan Frankson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Darby Kelly. Lisdoonvarna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Ballinakill AFC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Conleth Brennan hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Briain McWillie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballinakill AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lisdoonvarna the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Ballinakill AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Briain McWillie to maneuver through the defense. Caoilte Mullan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cathal Johnson in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Conleth Brennan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boyce Todd's late challenge caught a Lisdoonvarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boyce Todd helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes Ballinakill AFC got a freekick which was hit by Boyce Todd. A hard shot by Gearóid McWilliam from long distance, 39 minutes into the match, got Caoilte Mullan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 43rd minute Gordan Martyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darby Kelly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Binnech Willson made the kick off in the second half. After 61 played minutes Lisdoonvarna got a freekick which was hit by Binnech Willson. Darby Kelly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Briain Doyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Binnech Willson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Caoilte Mullan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Barcvni Doherty came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Lisdoonvarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barcvni Doherty couldn't finish the play. Conleth Brennan struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Darby Kelly didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballinakill AFC. If Conleth Brennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Briain Doyle's late challenge caught a Lisdoonvarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Briain Doyle hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game, Barcvni Doherty was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lisdoonvarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ballinakill AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Lisdoonvarna's Barcvni Doherty got a free kick in the 75th minute. If Binnech Willson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barcvni Doherty took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Caoilte Mullan. Caoilte Mullan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Lisdoonvarna's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Briain Doyle 90 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-2. Ballinakill AFC's Caoilte Mullan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Binnech Willson in the 94th minute of play.
