After recieving a nice pass, Legland's Donn McJames tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Legland's Randal Gillmour ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isaac Lavine. Isaac Lavine yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0.
