Spectators: 7479 (Terracing: 5550, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Balor Robinson started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Rathglass was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donegal Hamilton to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute of the match Basil Palmer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Berach McStephen skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Donegal Hamilton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rathglass's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donegal Hamilton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Boroimhe Martyn notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Rathglass's Berach McStephen. Berach McStephen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Berach McStephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balor Robinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berach McStephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdia Bayes in the 22nd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Berach McStephen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 28 minutes into the match, Rathglass's goal looked a bit too open when Boroimhe Martyn came free, but Berach McStephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, DS Wesrt's goal looked a bit too open when Donegal Hamilton came free, but Alfred Hamilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of DS Wesrt booed when Rathglass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bradon Ferguson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Rathglass getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Donegal Hamilton hit a great ball. When Buach Doherty fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rathglass's protests and gave Buach Doherty a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Buach Doherty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berach McStephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balor Robinson in the 37th minute of the match. Berach McStephen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boroimhe Martyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Boroimhe Martyn dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Berach McStephen, 2-0. Buach Doherty lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donegal Hamilton was the one to do the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Rathglass's goal looked a bit too open when Brin Dunne came free, but Berach McStephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Breenan Benson charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Breenan Benson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute Boroimhe Martyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berach McStephen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berach McStephen came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by DS Wesrt's Balor Robinson. But to his dismay, Balor Robinson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Berach McStephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balor Robinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Berach McStephen came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by DS Wesrt's Brin Dunne. But to his dismay, Brin Dunne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Breenan Benson kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Cullan McGlynn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Berach McStephen. Rathglass's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 90th minute, Ferdia Bayes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Berach McStephen was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Donegal Hamilton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 98 minutes into the match, Rathglass's goal looked a bit too open when Boroimhe Martyn came free, but Berach McStephen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. DS Wesrt fully deserved thier win.
