After having played for 30 minutes, Binnech Willson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lisdoonvarna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Binnech Willson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brogan McBrand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Binnech Willson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Lisdoonvarna's Pearse McSteven got a free kick in the 37th minute. Lisdoonvarna's Darby Kelly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brede McSteven in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th match minute, Killbride Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Branson Savic to maneuver through the defense. Torrey McJames received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Darby Kelly came out and tried to block the shot, but Torrey McJames slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Killbride Utd's Branson Savic ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Darby Kelly. Darby Kelly yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

If Barcvni Doherty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Binnech Willson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Brogan McBrand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Barcvni Doherty came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Lisdoonvarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barcvni Doherty couldn't finish the play. During the 64th minute of the match Barrie McBrandon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Barrie McBrandon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 69th minute, Lisdoonvarna's Binnech Willson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brogan McBrand.
