Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Boyce Willson made the kick off and thus started the match. Gearóid Dimson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cathal Dempsey in the 3rd minute. Ballinamult Utd's Gearóid Dimson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beachain McOliver in the 4th minute of play. If Cathal Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gearóid Dimson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beachain McOliver, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Boyce Willson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballinamult Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Boyce Willson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ballyeighan getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Berry Byrne hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Ballyeighan defense, Blamhac Frankson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rylee Moran. The Ballyeighan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rylee Moran should have stopped the shot. In the 26th minute of the match Timothy McLian shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rylee Moran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Beachain McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30 played minutes Beachain McOliver rounded Ballinamult Utd's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Cathal Dempsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beachain McOliver struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Gearóid Dimson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballyeighan. In the 37th minute, Kevion Deery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cathal Dempsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ballyeighan's Rylee Moran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blamhac Frankson in the 41st minute of play. Beachain McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beachain McOliver to strike the kick off in the second half. Cathal Dempsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cianán Morrison fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballinamult Utd's protests and gave Cianán Morrison a yellow card for diving instead. Cianán Morrison hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd match minute, Ballinamult Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevion Deery to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Ballinamult Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Cathal Dempsey came free, but Gearóid Dimson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cathal Dempsey took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gearóid Dimson. Gearóid Dimson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Cathal Dempsey might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gearóid Dimson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cathal Dempsey ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boyce Willson in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rylee Moran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Ballinamult Utd's zone, Cathal Dempsey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gearóid Dimson came out of the goal and Cathal Dempsey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cathal Dempsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beachain McOliver sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th match minute, Ballinamult Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torrian Sheridan to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Cathal Dempsey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gearóid Dimson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Ballyeighan players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
