Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Randal Gillmour started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Fionntán McAlphie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brin Dunne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berry Gough during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th match minute, Legland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berry Gough to maneuver through the defense. If Brin Dunne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Legland's goal looked a bit too open when Boroimhe Martyn came free, but Fionntán McAlphie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Balor Robinson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fionntán McAlphie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Balor Robinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Fionntán McAlphie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 28 played minutes DS Wesrt got a freekick which was hit by Ferdia Bayes. Aaden McDonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bressail Benson kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Donn McJames sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfred Hamilton skillfully saved the ball. Legland's Fionntán McAlphie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balor Robinson in the 38th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Suibhne McCollion fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alfred Hamilton, passed just outside the right post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Balor Robinson made a kick off. Basil Palmer hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. DS Wesrt's Boroimhe Martyn got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Balor Robinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boroimhe Martyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fionntán McAlphie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DS Wesrt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Randal Gillmour was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Balor Robinson might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fionntán McAlphie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balor Robinson ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balor Robinson got free with Fionntán McAlphie in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Balor Robinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Fionntán McAlphie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Boroimhe Martyn had several of the Legland's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-3 score and a disappointed Fionntán McAlphie as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Balor Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot. DS Wesrt's supporters rose to their feet, but Balor Robinson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fionntán McAlphie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 87th minute, Ferdia Bayes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Balor Robinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded DS Wesrt left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Legland.
