Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th match minute, Ballyeighan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donlan Mullan to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute, Breck McPhilip sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ballyeighan's Rylee Moran didn't even have to move. Edwin Perth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rylee Moran read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Donlan Mullan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Isaac Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Clownings's zone, Beachain McOliver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Lavine came out of the goal and Beachain McOliver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 21 minutes in the game, Beachain McOliver fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Isaac Lavine having to interfere. Isaac Lavine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beachain McOliver in the 23rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berrigan MaCollin during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Clownings getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Berrigan MaCollin hit a great ball. Ballyeighan's Irving Doyle couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Clownings. Beachain McOliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Lavine having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cahir Harkin to strike the kick off in the second half. Cathal Dempsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beachain McOliver in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isaac Lavine saved Clownings from getting behind. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Ballyeighan's Cathal Dempsey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaac Lavine narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Clownings's Bodibeua Tierney got a free kick in the 64th minute. Isaac Lavine made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beachain McOliver in the 71st minute of play. Berrigan MaCollin hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Breasal Barrett was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Ballyeighan. Irving Doyle stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isaac Lavine. 1-0. Beachain McOliver fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Lavine having to interfere. After 85 played minutes Clownings got a freekick which was hit by Berrigan MaCollin. Beachain McOliver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaac Lavine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Ballyeighan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
