Spectators: 6765 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cahir Harkin took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Clownings's zone, Herygh Horgan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac Lavine came out of the goal and Herygh Horgan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Branson Savic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Lavine having to interfere. Brogan McBrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cahir Harkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Cahir Harkin took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brogan McBrand. Brogan McBrand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 22 minutes, Cahir Harkin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clownings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cahir Harkin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaac Lavine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Branson Savic, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Edwin Perth lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Brogan McBrand. The supporters of Killbride Utd booed when Clownings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Breasal Barrett didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

A collision led to Clownings getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Braden Mulvihill hit a great ball. Clownings's Isaac Lavine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Clownings from getting a goal against them. Herygh Horgan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaac Lavine read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Isaac Lavine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herygh Horgan in the 61st minute of the match. Torrey McJames's late challenge caught a Clownings's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Torrey McJames helped the player get up and apologised. Torrey McJames hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cahir Harkin during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cahir Harkin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Branson Savic came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Killbride Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Branson Savic couldn't finish the play. Edwin Perth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 played minutes Killbride Utd got a freekick which was hit by Brede McSteven. When Clownings's Cahir Harkin, in the 74th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Clownings. Brogan McBrand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin Perth, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Branson Savic got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 95th minute, Herygh Horgan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Killbride Utd's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Clownings had won, even though Killbride Utd had held more of the ball.
