Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Swanlinbar Utd's Beccan Bayes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 12th play minute Harkin Perth came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alfred Hamilton. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Swanlinbar Utd's zone, Balor Robinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Finbar Doyle came out of the goal and Balor Robinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Swanlinbar Utd's Brenden McPhilip got a free kick in the 19th minute. Alfred Hamilton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beccan Bayes in the 22nd minute of play. Brin Dunne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Finbar Doyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Ferdia Bayes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brin Dunne in the 32nd minute of play forced Swanlinbar Utd's goalkeeper Finbar Doyle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brenden McPhilip got free with Alfred Hamilton in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balor Robinson in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Finbar Doyle saved Swanlinbar Utd from getting behind. Quaid McJames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Hamilton having to interfere. Finbar Doyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brin Dunne in the 41st minute of the match. Boroimhe Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Finbar Doyle having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, DS Wesrt's goalkeeper Alfred Hamilton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harkin Perth. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

After 51 minutes of play, DS Wesrt's Brin Dunne made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Finbar Doyle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brenden McPhilip took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfred Hamilton. Alfred Hamilton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Finbar Doyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balor Robinson in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Brin Dunne managed to get in a good position for a shot. DS Wesrt's supporters rose to their feet, but Brin Dunne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Finbar Doyle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Balor Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brenden McPhilip hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Balor Robinson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Swanlinbar Utd's Brenden McPhilip got a free kick in the 80th minute. Finbar Doyle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Balor Robinson's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. After 93 minutes, Garrett McPaul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DS Wesrt and the Swanlinbar Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Garrett McPaul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DS Wesrt's Brin Dunne got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Swanlinbar Utd were victorious despite being under pressure from DS Wesrt for much of the match.
