Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The audience was convinced that Donncha McBrand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bowie Deans was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Breadan Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Killosseny AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Breadan Crowe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bowie Deans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 6 played minutes Glanawaddra got a freekick which was hit by Blaine Molloy. Bowie Deans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Breadan Crowe's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Glanawaddra's Bowie Deans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donncha McBrand in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute Donncha McBrand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bowie Deans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bowie Deans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donncha McBrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Beara McSteven lost his temper 22 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 22nd minute, one of Glanawaddra:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Glanawaddra. Donncha McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breadan Crowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bowie Deans having to interfere. Bowie Deans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breadan Crowe, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Donncha McBrand notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Glanawaddra's Bowie Deans. Bowie Deans was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th match minute, Killosseny AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendan Murphy to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Breadan Crowe to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Killosseny AFC's Buach Doherty slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bowie Deans. That made the score 0-3 after 54 minutes of play. After 58th play minutes Donncha McBrand shot 0-4, a short shot which went by Bowie Deans and just under the crossbar into goal. Breadan Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Donncha McBrand came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Killosseny AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donncha McBrand couldn't finish the play. After 67 minutes, Breadan Crowe made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Glanawaddra's Bowie Deans tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Glanawaddra's Timothy Dempsey got a free kick in the 70th minute. Donncha McBrand in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bowie Deans, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Killosseny AFC's Buach Doherty got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Breadan Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 88 minutes into the game, Breadan Crowe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Bowie Deans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Killosseny AFC's Donncha McBrand got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Killosseny AFC played a much better game than Glanawaddra and deserved their victory. The Glanawaddra players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
