Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ryon McAaron got the match started through his kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breadan Crowe in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barde McNamara saved Castlejordan from getting behind. A collision led to Castlejordan getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Bodibeua McBrandon hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, Donncha McBrand notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Castlejordan's Barde McNamara. Barde McNamara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 10 minutes of play, Killosseny AFC's Donncha McBrand made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barde McNamara was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute, Donncha McBrand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brendan Murphy kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Breadan Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Killosseny AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breadan Crowe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Donncha McBrand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barde McNamara was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Breadan Crowe came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Killosseny AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breadan Crowe couldn't finish the play. Castlejordan's Barde McNamara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donncha McBrand in the 32nd minute of play. Buach Doherty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Donncha McBrand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Barde McNamara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sameer McWillie's late challenge caught a Killosseny AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sameer McWillie helped the player get up and apologised. 37 minutes into the game, one of Castlejordan:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Donncha McBrand sped through Castlejordan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Barde McNamara. Beartlai Caffey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bodibeua McBrandon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Breadan Crowe was the one to do the kick off. Beartlai Caffey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roy McIan in the 54th minute of play. Barde McNamara didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 56th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. 59 minutes into the match, Castlejordan's goalkeeper Barde McNamara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breadan Crowe. Donncha McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breadan Crowe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Barde McNamara came out and tried to block the shot, but Breadan Crowe slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 66th minute. Breadan Crowe took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barde McNamara. Barde McNamara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Donncha McBrand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donncha McBrand succeeded in the game's 80th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-8. Breadan Crowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Barde McNamara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barde McNamara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donncha McBrand, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Castlejordan's Barde McNamara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donncha McBrand in the 90th minute of play. Barde McNamara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donncha McBrand in the 92nd minute of the match. Breadan Crowe struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Barde McNamara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Killosseny AFC.
