Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dewain McWill started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Becc Morrison charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Becc Morrison the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Ballintlea's Becc Morrison got a free kick in the 4th minute. A collision led to Ballintlea getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Scot McPeter hit a great ball. Ballintlea's Fiachra Hutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breadan Moran in the 7th minute of play. Teddy McFrank took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bairne Matthews, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beag Deans was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. Beag Deans kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Ballintlea's Gilian Gallagher got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bairne Matthews took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teddy McFrank. Teddy McFrank dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Joseph McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Kilmacshane's Ross Bayes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fiachra Hutton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Sameer McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ballintlea getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Baoithin McPaul hit a great ball. Joseph McWill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fiachra Hutton having to interfere. A collision led to Ballintlea getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Dillon McJohnny hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bairne Matthews made a kick off. Teddy McFrank stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bairne Matthews's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. The throw-in from Braedon Cronin in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ballintlea's Scot McPeter. Alfred MaCollin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfred MaCollin might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teddy McFrank. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfred MaCollin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 72nd minute Alfred MaCollin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teddy McFrank saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Dillon McJohnny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Scot McPeter kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Sameer McJames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fiachra Hutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kilmacshane defense, Alfred MaCollin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teddy McFrank. The Kilmacshane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teddy McFrank should have stopped the shot. If Alfred MaCollin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joseph McWill struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Fiachra Hutton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilmacshane. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Ballintlea were victorious despite being under pressure from Kilmacshane for much of the match.
