A collision led to Ballintlea getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Baoithin McPaul hit a great ball. When Petran McWilliam came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Culdaly AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petran McWilliam couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, Ballintlea's Alfred MaCollin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raonall Gough narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 72ndth minute of the game Petran McWilliam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballintlea's Fiachra Hutton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alfred MaCollin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Raonall Gough when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 88 minutes into the game, Alfred MaCollin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Raonall Gough.
