After 15 played minutes, Brackagh's Berry Cooney shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kaine McFrank came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brackagh reached it. Shanaghy Utd's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrew Cassin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bivitas Myler in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nolyn Hutton saved Brackagh from getting behind. 39 minutes into the match, Andrew Cassin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Shanaghy Utd's Kaine McFrank. Kaine McFrank was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cullan Beckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrew Cassin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cullan Beckett's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaine McFrank read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Donlevy McFrank was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Brackagh's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 55th minute, Cullan Beckett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Donlevy McFrank came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Brackagh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donlevy McFrank couldn't finish the play. Brackagh's Andrew Cassin got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Shanaghy Utd's Fergus Gough in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 84th minute Beartlai Dempsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nolyn Hutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Brackagh's goal looked a bit too open when Bivitas Myler came free, but Nolyn Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bivitas Myler blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nolyn Hutton having to make a save.
