Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cormac Branson got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Bivitas Myler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shanaghy Utd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, Rineanna's Bowie McIan got a free kick in the 11th minute. Keefe Tierney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bivitas Myler in the 12th minute of the match. When Fergus Gough came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Shanaghy Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fergus Gough couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Shanaghy Utd booed when Rineanna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phelim McLaughlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaine McFrank made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brendon John in the 18th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Cormac Branson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kaine McFrank. That made the score 1-1 in the 19 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Shanaghy Utd's Gilbert Ghee got a free kick in the 26th minute. Kaine McFrank stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cormac Branson's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Shanaghy Utd's Kaine McFrank proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Shanaghy Utd from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Brendon John managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rineanna's supporters rose to their feet, but Brendon John was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kaine McFrank breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kaine McFrank made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brendon John in the 39th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cormac Branson in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaine McFrank saved Shanaghy Utd from getting behind. A collision led to Rineanna getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Emmet Duggan hit a great ball.
In the 55th match minute, Rineanna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bowie McIan to maneuver through the defense. Fergus Gough came free with the goalkeeper in the 56th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Keefe Tierney could save by the left post. Brendon John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Shanaghy Utd getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Gilbert Ghee hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, Beartlai Dempsey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brendon John took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kaine McFrank. Kaine McFrank dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Kaine McFrank showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cormac Branson, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Brendon John sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bivitas Myler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bivitas Myler in the 94th minute of play forced Rineanna's goalkeeper Keefe Tierney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cormac Branson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
