Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Andrew Cassin got the match started through his kick off. Randal McCready charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Randal McCready the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Randal McCready hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Ross Bayes hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. A collision led to Kilmacshane getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Bell McWill hit a great ball. Andrew Cassin took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teddy McFrank. Teddy McFrank dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Teddy McFrank made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donlevy McFrank in the 14th minute of play. After 19 played minutes Brackagh got a freekick which was hit by Berry Cooney. With a little luck, Brackagh's Nolyn Hutton got control of the ball when Randal McCready tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herygh McIan kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Joseph McWill's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nolyn Hutton was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Randal McCready received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Nolyn Hutton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34thth minute of the game Joseph McWill who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brackagh's Nolyn Hutton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Herygh McIan kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Randal McCready fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nolyn Hutton having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Kilmacshane's Randal McCready nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nolyn Hutton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joseph McWill made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Buach Ghee managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brackagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Buach Ghee was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teddy McFrank breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 54 minutes into the match, Brackagh's Donlevy McFrank sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teddy McFrank narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Cullan Beckett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ross Bayes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 59 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Kilmacshane's Ross Bayes got a free kick in the 60th minute. Andrew Cassin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Teddy McFrank tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teddy McFrank made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Cassin in the 80th minute of play. Randal McCready fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nolyn Hutton having to interfere. After 86 played minutes Brackagh got a freekick which was hit by Cullan Beckett. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donlevy McFrank got free with Teddy McFrank in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 94 minutes into the match, Kilmacshane's goalkeeper Teddy McFrank had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donlevy McFrank. Kilmacshane's Teddy McFrank proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Kilmacshane from getting a goal against them. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Kilmacshane fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brackagh had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
