After 21 minutes of play, Ranns FC's Colm Doherty made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baiste McPeter was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendan Dillon in the 68th minute of play forced Ranns FC's goalkeeper Lee Delaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ranns FC's Lee Delaney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branagain McNamee in the 97th minute of play.
