The supporters of Clontarf booed when Boley Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul MaCollin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ravan Ramsey struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Beag McMichel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clontarf. In the 21st minute Beiti Frankson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reginald Ryan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Beale Grant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clontarf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boley Utd the free kick. After 27 played minutes Clontarf got a freekick which was hit by Beale Grant. Beiti Frankson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Reginald Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pauric McBrand during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Clontarf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pauric McBrand to maneuver through the defense. Beiti Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginald Ryan having to interfere. In the 37th minute Ravan Ramsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beag McMichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Ravan Ramsey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Beag McMichel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Teris McLian kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The long shot by Bow Deans in the 44th minute really tested Beag McMichel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Banan Caffrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beale Grant kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 53 minutes of play, Boley Utd's Beiti Frankson made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reginald Ryan was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Blathmac Caffey came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Boley Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blathmac Caffey couldn't finish the play. Ravan Ramsey scored 2-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beag McMichel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd match minute, Boley Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darragh McPaul to maneuver through the defense. Ravan Ramsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beag McMichel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Banan Caffrey went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Ravan Ramsey came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Clontarf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ravan Ramsey couldn't finish the play. Blathmac Caffey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginald Ryan having to interfere. Boley Utd's Blathmac Caffey came free and shot a quick shot against goal 90 minutes in the game, fortunately Reginald Ryan had problems saving as it came toward the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beiti Frankson in the 94th minute of play forced Clontarf's goalkeeper Reginald Ryan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clontarf's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
