Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Breanainn Rutherford started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The supporters of Clonebud Utd booed when Killbarly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desmond McAaron didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Nolyn Taylor sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Killbarly FC's Brenda O'Keefe didn't even have to move. Brenda O'Keefe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breanainn Rutherford in the 14th minute of the match. Harold Dempsey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Brenda O'Keefe made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Killbarly FC's Beale Frankson got a free kick in the 21st minute. Breanainn Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nolyn Taylor, 36 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Clonebud Utd's Harold Dempsey nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Brenda O'Keefe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Harold Dempsey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clonebud Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Harold Dempsey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brenda O'Keefe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46thth minute of the game Breanainn Rutherford who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Killbarly FC's Brenda O'Keefe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Herich O'Keefe to strike the kick off in the second half. Killbarly FC's Brenda O'Keefe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold Dempsey in the 54th minute of play. After 61 played minutes Clonebud Utd got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Crowe. Clonebud Utd's Rordan Lester proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Clonebud Utd from getting a goal against them. After 70 played minutes Killbarly FC got a freekick which was hit by Braonain Taylor. In the 71st minute of the match Nolyn Taylor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brenda O'Keefe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Harold Dempsey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Bradner Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes of play, Clonebud Utd's Breanainn Rutherford made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brenda O'Keefe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Harold Dempsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Clonebud Utd players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
