Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ravan Ramsey made the kick off and thus started the match. A collision led to Creggolympry getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Phelim McFrancise hit a great ball. Banan Caffrey scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bannan MaCollin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Reginald Ryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donegal Jameson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bannan MaCollin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ravan Ramsey's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ravan Ramsey in the 16th minute of play forced Creggolympry's goalkeeper Bannan MaCollin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Creggolympry's Kieran McPhil got a free kick in the 16th minute. Creggolympry's Bannan MaCollin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ravan Ramsey in the 17th minute of play. Ravan Ramsey struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Bannan MaCollin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clontarf. In the 27th minute, Phelim McFrancise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bow Deans was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 28th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ravan Ramsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ravan Ramsey in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bannan MaCollin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute Ravan Ramsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bannan MaCollin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ravan Ramsey blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bannan MaCollin having to make a save. Comhghall Hughes hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Banan Caffrey left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clontarf fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donegal Jameson to make the kick off. Clontarf were furious when Brann Crowe was red carded, 53 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 53 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Clontarf! Brennen Coyle shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If Banan Caffrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Banan Caffrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bannan MaCollin having to interfere. Beale Grant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bannan MaCollin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Banan Caffrey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Beale Grant came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Clontarf fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Beale Grant couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the match, Creggolympry's goal looked a bit too open when Banan Caffrey came free, but Bannan MaCollin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dónal Scully had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bannan MaCollin went to the wrong direction when Bow Deans was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Banan Caffrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Creggolympry's goalkeeper Bannan MaCollin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Banan Caffrey scored 3-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bannan MaCollin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Banan Caffrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Clontarf players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
