Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Torran McPaul started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Boley Utd defense, Brennen Moran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beag McMichel. The Boley Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beag McMichel should have stopped the shot. Beag McMichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torran McPaul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Torran McPaul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballyboughal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 17thth minute of the game Brennen Moran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boley Utd's Beag McMichel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute, Bourns Molloy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Boley Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Brennen Moran came free, but Beag McMichel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Torran McPaul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beag McMichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brennen Moran during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Brennen Moran kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Boley Utd's zone, Torran McPaul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beag McMichel came out of the goal and Torran McPaul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torran McPaul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Beag McMichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brennen Moran in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Beag McMichel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Darragh McPaul hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Boley Utd's Beag McMichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brennen Moran in the 39th minute of play. If Torran McPaul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Ballyboughal were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beiti Frankson to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Royan Caffey during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Royan Caffey hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The supporters of Boley Utd booed when Ballyboughal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eoin Ferguson didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Boley Utd's Beag McMichel got control of the ball when Torran McPaul tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Royan Caffey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Beiti Frankson made a precise shot to the right of Barclay Ferguson. Ballyboughal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 78th match minute, Boley Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul MaCollin to maneuver through the defense. Torran McPaul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Beag McMichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Torran McPaul struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Beag McMichel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballyboughal. After a defensive mix-up in Boley Utd's zone, Brennen Moran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beag McMichel came out of the goal and Brennen Moran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Torran McPaul who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Beag McMichel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Boley Utd's Beag McMichel got control of the ball when Torran McPaul tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 90 minutes, Darragh McPaul mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boley Utd and the Ballyboughal players grew even worse after the yellow card. Darragh McPaul hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Brennen Moran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beag McMichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brennen Moran was extremely unlucky when he, in the 96th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ballyboughal's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
