After a rather tough play, Urraghil's Austin McSteve got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Creggolympry's Brennen Coyle broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Urraghil's Coileán Frankson got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Coileán Frankson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Creggolympry's Bannan MaCollin. Bannan MaCollin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 32nd minute, Creggolympry's Donegal Jameson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Donavan McCready sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kieran McPhil kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 40thth minute of the game Coileán Frankson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Creggolympry's Bannan MaCollin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Coileán Frankson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bannan MaCollin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Creggolympry getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Phelim McFrancise hit a great ball. If Donavan McCready had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Coileán Frankson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Berkeley Myler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Caroll Doherty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berkeley Myler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caroll Doherty having to interfere. Urraghil's Caroll Doherty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berkeley Myler in the 57th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Urraghil's Coileán Frankson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bannan MaCollin. That made the score 3-2 after 60 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Donavan McCready got free with Bannan MaCollin in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Coileán Frankson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Bannan MaCollin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phelim McFrancise's late challenge caught a Urraghil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phelim McFrancise helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Creggolympry got a freekick which was hit by Phelim McFrancise. Caroll Doherty made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donegal Jameson in the 75th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Urraghil's Coileán Frankson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. 86 minutes into the match, Donegal Jameson notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Urraghil's Caroll Doherty. Caroll Doherty was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bannan MaCollin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rorry Ramsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Donavan McCready could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Bannan MaCollin made a huge save. Berkeley Myler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caroll Doherty having to interfere. Donavan McCready sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Urraghil players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Creggolympry.
