Spectators: 6769 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1769, VIP seats: 0) Brannan Ramsey hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Royan McBjarton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geoffrey McDecland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caroll Doherty having to interfere. Urraghil's Caroll Doherty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egan O'Brien in the 13th minute of play. Flann McCollion kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Royan McBjarton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caroll Doherty read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Coileán Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierson Brennan having to interfere. The supporters of Urraghil booed when Oughterard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brannan Ramsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donavan McCready received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Pierson Brennan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Coileán Frankson came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Urraghil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Coileán Frankson couldn't finish the play. Caroll Doherty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Royan McBjarton in the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Royan McBjarton to make the kick off. Royan McBjarton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pierson Brennan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coileán Frankson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Coileán Frankson might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierson Brennan . Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Coileán Frankson ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Oughterard defense, Flann McCollion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierson Brennan . The Oughterard fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierson Brennan should have stopped the shot. If Coileán Frankson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donavan McCready in the 77th minute of play forced Oughterard's goalkeeper Pierson Brennan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierson Brennan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coileán Frankson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donavan McCready fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierson Brennan having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Donavan McCready ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierson Brennan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 97 minutes into the match, Urraghil's goal looked a bit too open when Royan McBjarton came free, but Caroll Doherty reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Urraghil had won after a very even match.
