Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Herich McJon kicked off to start the match. In the 10th minute, Harold Dempsey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ennis Savic was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Bradain Rutherford hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Colnamona Utd's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Breanainn Rutherford fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Breanainn Rutherford in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ennis Savic saved Colnamona Utd from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, Samuel Crowe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clonebud Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colnamona Utd the free kick. In the 22nd minute, one of Clonebud Utd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clonebud Utd. In the 27th minute Breanainn Rutherford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ennis Savic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Breanainn Rutherford came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Clonebud Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breanainn Rutherford couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Colnamona Utd defense, Harold Dempsey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ennis Savic. The Colnamona Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ennis Savic should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Paul McIan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colnamona Utd's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul McIan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rordan Lester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Quaid McSteve's late challenge caught a Clonebud Utd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Quaid McSteve helped the player get up and apologised. 43 minutes into the game, Donald Byrne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Colnamona Utd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clonebud Utd the free kick. Donald Byrne hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Breanainn Rutherford to strike the kick off in the second half. Brant McNamee kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Colnamona Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Harold Dempsey came free, but Ennis Savic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harold Dempsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennis Savic having to interfere. Harold Dempsey might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ennis Savic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harold Dempsey ran back to his position shaking his head. Paul McIan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Colnamona Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paudraig Myler to maneuver through the defense. Harold Dempsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Ennis Savic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rordan Lester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herich McJon, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ennis Savic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breanainn Rutherford in the 88th minute of play. Harold Dempsey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ennis Savic having to interfere. Dermod Todd kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ennis Savic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breanainn Rutherford in the 96th minute of the match. Colnamona Utd's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
