Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Clontarf's Ravan Ramsey started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Dónal Cronin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corroy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dónal Cronin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 5 minutes, Banan Caffrey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clontarf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Banan Caffrey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Clontarf's goalkeeper Reginald Ryan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dónal Cronin. Dónal Cronin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Reginald Ryan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Bell Dunne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reginald Ryan was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Beale Grant hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, Berchan Rogers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Corroy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clontarf the free kick. A collision led to Corroy getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Berchan Rogers hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Ravan Ramsey put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Herich Tierney. Ravan Ramsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Herich Tierney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reginald Ryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bell Dunne in the 25th minute of the match. Dónal Cronin struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Reginald Ryan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corroy. Clontarf's Banan Caffrey got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Dónal Cronin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corroy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 38th minute, one of Clontarf:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Clontarf. Herich Tierney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Banan Caffrey in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bell Dunne to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Corroy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baodan Doyle to maneuver through the defense. After 54 minutes, Bell Dunne made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Clontarf's Reginald Ryan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dónal Cronin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Reginald Ryan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes Clontarf got a freekick which was hit by Dónal Scully. Bell Dunne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginald Ryan having to interfere. Reginald Ryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dónal Cronin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reginald Ryan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bell Dunne in the 64th minute of the match. Ravan Ramsey did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-2 to the left of a surprised Herich Tierney 78 minutes into the match. Bell Dunne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Herich Tierney managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Clontarf's Banan Caffrey fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 85 minutes into the match, Clontarf's Banan Caffrey sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herich Tierney narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bell Dunne succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-2. Corroy's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
