Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bell Dunne got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Donavan McCready got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Coileán Frankson took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Herich Tierney. Herich Tierney dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 9th minute, David Lavine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute, Dónal Cronin made a precise shot to the right of Caroll Doherty. Urraghil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Herich Tierney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rorry Ramsey in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Corroy getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Baodan Doyle hit a great ball. After 23 minutes, Britain Mulvihill mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corroy and the Urraghil players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Corroy's Britain Mulvihill got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Urraghil's Caroll Doherty played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bell Dunne in the 26th minute of play. Herich Tierney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donavan McCready, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donavan McCready fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herich Tierney having to interfere. Coileán Frankson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herich Tierney having to make a save. Donavan McCready received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Herich Tierney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 47 minutes into the match, Urraghil's Coileán Frankson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herich Tierney narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Coileán Frankson made a kick off. Urraghil were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Corroy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Austin McSteve took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Austin McSteve got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Herich Tierney quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Coileán Frankson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Corroy getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Blair Willson hit a great ball. Flann McCollion kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Herich Tierney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coileán Frankson in the 68th minute of play. Herich Tierney made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Donavan McCready sent off a good shot on target. Berchan Rogers kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Coileán Frankson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herich Tierney having to interfere. In the 87th minute Coileán Frankson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herich Tierney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Urraghil's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
