Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pierson Brennan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dónal Cronin might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierson Brennan . Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dónal Cronin ran back to his position shaking his head. Dónal Cronin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Corroy's Baodan Doyle tried to score from far away in the 15th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dónal Cronin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierson Brennan having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berchan Rogers during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Berchan Rogers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bell Dunne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bell Dunne in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pierson Brennan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 29th minute, Egan O'Brien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Corroy's Britain Mulvihill got a free kick in the 31st minute. Bell Dunne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Pierson Brennan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 38 minutes into the game, Bell Dunne lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Pierson Brennan . Pierson Brennan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bell Dunne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Bell Dunne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Pierson Brennan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bell Dunne went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Bell Dunne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dónal Cronin in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierson Brennan saved Oughterard from getting behind. The supporters of Corroy booed when Oughterard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tevis McFrancise didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes in the game, Bell Dunne dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Dónal Cronin scored 4-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pierson Brennan , who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pierson Brennan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Berchan Rogers in the 75th minute of the match. Oughterard's Pierson Brennan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bell Dunne in the 82nd minute of play.
