Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joshua Sheridan kicked off to start the match. Quaid Coyle kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Joshua Sheridan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th minute, Bras McCready fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Jonathan McPeter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bras McCready received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Banan Deans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Maryfield's zone, Jonathan McPeter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Banan Deans came out of the goal and Jonathan McPeter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donagheumper's Bras McCready got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22nd minute, Quaid Coyle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maryfield's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Healy McPeter in the 26th minute. Healy McPeter made a great header on Maryfield's corner, it was just that Donagheumper's Reagan McNamara managed to reach the ball for a save. Bedilia Kelly blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reagan McNamara having to make a save. Bras McCready's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Banan Deans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Donagheumper's goalkeeper Reagan McNamara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Donagheumper's Jonathan McPeter got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan McPeter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Banan Deans when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bras McCready to make the kick off. A collision led to Maryfield getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Beglan McTommy hit a great ball. 52 minutes into the match, Maryfield's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan McPeter came free, but Banan Deans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bedilia Kelly received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Reagan McNamara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bedilia Kelly in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Reagan McNamara, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Reagan McNamara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Sheridan in the 60th minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Donagheumper was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saoirse Hamilton to maneuver through the defense. Maryfield's Healy McPeter couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 64th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Donagheumper. In the 69th minute, Joshua Sheridan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Maryfield's Joshua Sheridan in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Donagheumper's goalie prevented a goal. Binnech Brennan's late challenge caught a Donagheumper's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Binnech Brennan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Maryfield getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Binnech Brennan hit a great ball. Joshua Sheridan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reagan McNamara having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ainnle Brennan during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 91st minute of the match Donagheumper got a corner. Maryfield's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ardán Hughes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
