When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Breaghdha Lester took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Shannon Savic to make any attempt to save it. Eoghan McBjarton blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donavin Barrett having to make a save. Donavin Barrett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eoghan McBjarton in the 67th minute of play. If Eoghan McBjarton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reidy Glen Crowe scored 4-3 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donavin Barrett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fionntán Murphy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Shannon Savic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ballinwillin's Reidy Glen Crowe got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ballinwillin fully deserved thier win.
