Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brion Palmer started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Donagheumper booed when Bohermeen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barhart Todd didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bras McCready in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gearard Caffey saved Bohermeen from getting behind. In the 11th match minute, Bohermeen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barhart Todd to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bow Ryan during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bow Ryan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Ardán Hughes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gearard Caffey skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brion Palmer got free with Reagan McNamara in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. During the 26th minute of the match Bow Ryan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bow Ryan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 27th minute, Bow Ryan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gearard Caffey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bras McCready in the 34th minute of play. If Breanne John had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 38th minute of the match, Benen McGlynn tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Reagan McNamara saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 43rd minute Jonathan McPeter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gearard Caffey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bras McCready in the 44th minute of play forced Bohermeen's goalkeeper Gearard Caffey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bras McCready made a kick off. Reagan McNamara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boyne Perth in the 56th minute of play. When Brion Palmer fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bohermeen's protests and gave Brion Palmer a yellow card for diving instead. After 61 played minutes Bohermeen got a freekick which was hit by Brion Palmer. Bairre Perth hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. If Jonathan McPeter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
