Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flann Colwell in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reagan McNamara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathan McPeter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Branson having to interfere. Reagan McNamara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gearroid Gillmour in the 20th minute of the match. Bairre Perth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 25th minute Flann Colwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reagan McNamara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gearroid Gillmour struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Reagan McNamara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilteely. In the 31st minute, Ardán Hughes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bairre Perth's late challenge caught a Kilteely's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bairre Perth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd match minute, Donagheumper was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bairre Perth to maneuver through the defense. 34 minutes into the game, Timothy Ramsey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kilteely's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Donagheumper the free kick. After 34 played minutes Kilteely got a freekick which was hit by Timothy Ramsey. The supporters of Donagheumper booed when Kilteely was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timothy Ramsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kieran Branson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jonathan McPeter in the 43rd minute. Kieran Branson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bras McCready, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute, Jonathan McPeter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Donagheumper fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flann Colwell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jonathan McPeter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Branson having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Bras McCready notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Kilteely's Kieran Branson. Kieran Branson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 60th minute Flann Colwell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reagan McNamara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reagan McNamara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flann Colwell, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Donagheumper's Reagan McNamara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Donagheumper from getting a goal against them. After 76 played minutes Donagheumper got a freekick which was hit by Bairre Perth. Reagan McNamara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gearroid Gillmour in the 77th minute. In the 84th minute, Bairre Perth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barin Harkin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 84th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Donagheumper getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Saoirse Hamilton hit a great ball. If Jonathan McPeter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donagheumper's Reagan McNamara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Donagheumper from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Donagheumper booed when Kilteely was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timothy Ramsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donagheumper's Ardán Hughes couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 95th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kilteely. For all the effort they put into the match, the Kilteely players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Donagheumper.
