Kevion Bayes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Breaghdha Lester blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevion Bayes having to make a save. Breaghdha Lester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevion Bayes having to interfere. With a little luck, Loskeran's Donavin Barrett got control of the ball when Baiscend McJohnny tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th match minute, Cairlinn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Breanainn Colwell to maneuver through the defense. Loskeran's Rannal Walker couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 36th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cairlinn. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cairlinn's goalkeeper Kevion Bayes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Donavin Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coinneach Lester in the 43rd minute of the match. Cairlinn's Baiscend McJohnny got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Loskeran were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Coinneach Lester was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Boethis Gallagher put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Loskeran fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 51st minute. Penalty! Quinn Doherty kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Fionntán Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 minutes of play, Loskeran's Fionntán Murphy made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kevion Bayes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Baiscend McJohnny struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Donavin Barrett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cairlinn. After a rather tough play, Loskeran's Derin McWillie got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Fionntán Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevion Bayes made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Desmond Rogers sent off a good shot on target. If Fionntán Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fionntán Murphy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Fionntán Murphy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kevion Bayes. Cairlinn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fionntán Murphy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 86 played minutes Loskeran got a freekick which was hit by Breaghdha Lester. After 92 played minutes, Cairlinn's Críostóir Duggan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Donavin Barrett came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cairlinn reached it. Coinneach Lester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Donavin Barrett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 minutes of play, Cairlinn's Baiscend McJohnny made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donavin Barrett was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Cairlinn fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Loskeran were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
