Bras McCready fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shannon Savic having to interfere. Ballinwillin's Shannon Savic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bras McCready in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Bras McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shannon Savic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bras McCready received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Shannon Savic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Donagheumper booed when Ballinwillin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herygh McMichel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes, Berchan Crowe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ballinwillin and the Donagheumper players grew even worse after the yellow card. Berchan Crowe kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Eoghan McBjarton took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Reagan McNamara to make any attempt to save it. 53 minutes into the match, Ballinwillin's Eoghan McBjarton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Reagan McNamara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ballinwillin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eoghan McBjarton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Eoghan McBjarton came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ballinwillin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eoghan McBjarton couldn't finish the play. Reagan McNamara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reidy Glen Crowe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 94 played minutes Donagheumper got a freekick which was hit by Breanainn McMichel.
