Maryfield's players were relieved. Loskeran's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rannal Walker in the 5th minute. The corner led Loskeran's Fionntán Murphy to a score. 1-0 in the 5th minute. Breaghdha Lester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Banan Deans having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bedilia Kelly during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bedilia Kelly kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Maryfield booed when Loskeran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torrey Duggan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Loskeran's goalkeeper Donavin Barrett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Breaghdha Lester got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Fionntán Murphy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loskeran's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fionntán Murphy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 30th minute Breaghdha Lester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Banan Deans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joshua Sheridan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Donavin Barrett having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Fionntán Murphy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loskeran's supporters rose to their feet, but Fionntán Murphy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Banan Deans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bedilia Kelly came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Maryfield fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bedilia Kelly couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joshua Sheridan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Donavin Barrett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Sheridan in the 51st minute of the match. Fionntán Murphy struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Banan Deans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loskeran. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Breaghdha Lester managed to get in a good position for a shot. Loskeran's supporters rose to their feet, but Breaghdha Lester was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Banan Deans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Healy McPeter during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Maryfield! Donavin Barrett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Sheridan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fionntán Murphy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Banan Deans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barcvni Cronin's late challenge caught a Maryfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barcvni Cronin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Maryfield booed when Loskeran was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barcvni Cronin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bedilia Kelly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donavin Barrett having to interfere. Bedilia Kelly recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Breaghdha Lester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Banan Deans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breaghdha Lester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breaghdha Lester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Banan Deans having to interfere. When Bret Tierney fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maryfield's protests and gave Bret Tierney a yellow card for diving instead. Donavin Barrett didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 97th minute, which inside left pole to 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Maryfield players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Loskeran.
