Rowley McWill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Gearard Caffey made a huge save. Gearard Caffey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Healy Benson in the 35th minute of the match. Gearard Caffey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Breenan McVictor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Bohermeen's goal looked a bit too open when Breenan McVictor came free, but Gearard Caffey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donal Caffey's late challenge caught a Sligo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donal Caffey helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Bram Caffrey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Sligo booed when Bohermeen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bow Ryan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dawayne McTommy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brion Palmer in the 83rd minute of the match.
