Spectators: 6762 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1762, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dermod Ghee got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Donagheumper's goal looked a bit too open when Dermod Ghee came free, but Reagan McNamara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan McPeter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brefni Doyle having to make a save. If Dermod Ghee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bairre Perth kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Harrigan McJohnny's late challenge caught a Donagheumper's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harrigan McJohnny helped the player get up and apologised. After recieving a nice pass, Donagheumper's Ardán Hughes tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Leap FC's Jeremiah McLaughlin got a free kick in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bras McCready in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brefni Doyle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute of the match Edwin Matthews shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reagan McNamara showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leap FC's goalkeeper Brefni Doyle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bras McCready made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Dermod Ghee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reagan McNamara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciarán Perth got free with Reagan McNamara in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Reagan McNamara made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Ciarán Perth sent off a good shot on target. Dermod Ghee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciarán Perth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Reagan McNamara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reagan McNamara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dermod Ghee in the 65th minute of the match. When Alan Glen Crowe fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Donagheumper's protests and gave Alan Glen Crowe a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Donagheumper's Alan Glen Crowe got a free kick in the 68th minute. Reagan McNamara acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Caoilte Hamilton. In the 70th minute, Breanainn McMichel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leap FC's Patrick Morrison got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leap FC's Brefni Doyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan McPeter in the 77th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Leap FC got a freekick which was hit by Dermod Ghee. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Irving Brennan during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute Bras McCready shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brefni Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Donagheumper booed when Leap FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Morrison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ardán Hughes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brefni Doyle. Leap FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Reagan McNamara came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Leap FC's Ciarán Perth. But to his dismay, Ciarán Perth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Donagheumper's zone, Dermod Ghee stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reagan McNamara came out of the goal and Dermod Ghee tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Donagheumper succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Leap FC had controlled the match.
