The Kilteely fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kieran Branson should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Kilteely's zone, Reidy Glen Crowe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kieran Branson came out of the goal and Reidy Glen Crowe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Flann Colwell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Shannon Savic made a huge save. Flann Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Shannon Savic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes Kilteely got a freekick which was hit by Timothy Ramsey. 32 minutes into the game, Reidy Glen Crowe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Kieran Branson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kieran Branson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eoghan McBjarton in the 35th minute of play. If Reidy Glen Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reidy Glen Crowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Branson having to interfere. Kieran Branson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
