Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brion Palmer made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th match minute, Maryfield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joshua Sheridan to maneuver through the defense. Bedilia Kelly could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Gearard Caffey made a huge save. In the 6th minute, Bret Tierney had to leave the field with a concussion. Barhart Todd's late challenge caught a Maryfield's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barhart Todd helped the player get up and apologised. Barhart Todd hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. The long shot by Healy McPeter in the 8th minute really tested Gearard Caffey's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bohermeen's Gearard Caffey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Bohermeen from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Brion Palmer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Banan Deans was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Beglan McTommy got in the 31st a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Gearard Caffey handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bedilia Kelly got free with Gearard Caffey in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Maryfield's Bedilia Kelly slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gearard Caffey. That made the score 1-1 after 34 minutes of play. Ainnle Brennan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bedilia Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Brion Palmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Banan Deans having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beglan McTommy got free with Gearard Caffey in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Bedilia Kelly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bedilia Kelly made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Russ Matthews threw the ball into play from the sideline. Bohermeen's Barhart Todd quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 56 minutes into the game, Maryfield's Bedilia Kelly nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gearard Caffey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Gearard Caffey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bedilia Kelly in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedilia Kelly in the 68th minute of play forced Bohermeen's goalkeeper Gearard Caffey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bedilia Kelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ainnle Brennan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Maryfield's Banan Deans got control of the ball when Brion Palmer tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brion Palmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Bedilia Kelly notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Bohermeen's Gearard Caffey. Gearard Caffey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Barhart Todd kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Maryfield players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
