Leap FC's Brefni Doyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bran Martyn in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Bran Martyn made a precise shot to the right of Brefni Doyle. Leap FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 12th minute, Dermod Ghee hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bran Martyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vecdi Kabataş struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Brefni Doyle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Whitegate AFC. Whitegate AFC's Bran Martyn got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Brenn McStephen hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donavan McSteve during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Donavan McSteve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Bran Martyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Whitegate AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bran Martyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brefni Doyle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Auley Hunt made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Patrick Morrison sent off a good shot on target. Brefni Doyle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bran Martyn went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciarán Perth got free with Auley Hunt in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vecdi Kabataş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brefni Doyle having to interfere. In the 45th minute Ciarán Perth suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Donavan McSteve was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match.

After a rather tough play, Whitegate AFC's Lewis McJohnny got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Phelim Perth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Whitegate AFC's Bran Martyn got a free kick in the 56th minute. Baptist Mulvihill hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Phelim Perth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brefni Doyle having to interfere. Leap FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Hamilton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Bairne McAlphie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Dermod Ghee got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brefni Doyle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Whitegate AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
