Flann Colwell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kevion Bayes having to make a save. Coinneach Lester sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flann Colwell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Kevion Bayes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John McBjarton charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John McBjarton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. John McBjarton kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Kilteely's Barin Harkin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 11th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cairlinn. If Baiscend McJohnny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quinn Doherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Branson having to interfere. Kieran Branson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coinneach Lester in the 19th minute of the match. Baiscend McJohnny could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Kieran Branson made a huge save. The Cairlinn fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Cairlinn's Coinneach Lester looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 28 minutes into the match, Kilteely's goal looked a bit too open when Coinneach Lester came free, but Kieran Branson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Flann Colwell in the 30th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Kevion Bayes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flann Colwell's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Coinneach Lester recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Coinneach Lester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kieran Branson made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Baiscend McJohnny sent off a good shot on target. Kevion Bayes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flann Colwell's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Coinneach Lester made a kick off. Gearroid Gillmour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevion Bayes having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Flann Colwell took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Kevion Bayes to make any attempt to save it. Kevion Bayes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gearroid Gillmour in the 60th minute. Breanainn Colwell's late challenge caught a Kilteely's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Breanainn Colwell helped the player get up and apologised. In the 72nd minute, one of Cairlinn:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cairlinn. In the 74th minute there was a penalty for Kilteely. Barin Harkin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kevion Bayes. 1-2. Kevion Bayes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flann Colwell in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Gearroid Gillmour fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Kevion Bayes. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Kilteely's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. Flann Colwell struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Kevion Bayes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kilteely. Timothy Ramsey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gearroid Gillmour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Kevion Bayes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. During the 93rd minute of the match John McBjarton completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave John McBjarton a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 93 played minutes Cairlinn got a freekick which was hit by John McBjarton. Breanainn Colwell got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Cairlinn getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Breanainn Colwell hit a great ball. Gearroid Gillmour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevion Bayes having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kilteely walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
