Kieran Branson had in the 4thth minute some difficulties stopping Healy McPeter's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Flann Colwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Banan Deans having to interfere. Gearroid Gillmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gearroid Gillmour recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17thth minute of the game Joshua Sheridan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kilteely's Kieran Branson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Seán McPhilip kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Kilteely defense, Joshua Sheridan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kieran Branson. The Kilteely fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kieran Branson should have stopped the shot. After 31 minutes of play, Maryfield's Bedilia Kelly made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kieran Branson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kieran Branson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Sheridan, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Bedilia Kelly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Branson having to interfere. When Maryfield's Joshua Sheridan in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kilteely's goalie prevented a goal. After the first half Maryfield were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joshua Sheridan was the one to do the kick off. Ainnle Brennan's late challenge caught a Kilteely's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ainnle Brennan helped the player get up and apologised. Ainnle Brennan kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Maryfield's Banan Deans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gearroid Gillmour in the 54th minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Ainnle Brennan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maryfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ainnle Brennan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bedilia Kelly struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Kieran Branson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maryfield. After 64 played minutes, Maryfield's Bram Caffrey shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kieran Branson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maryfield reached it. Kieran Branson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joshua Sheridan's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Beglan McTommy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kieran Branson. Kilteely's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beglan McTommy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Maryfield's Bedilia Kelly got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 81st minute of the match Ainnle Brennan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ainnle Brennan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 81st minute, Ainnle Brennan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, Maryfield's goal looked a bit too open when Flann Colwell came free, but Banan Deans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joshua Sheridan hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Flann Colwell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 88th minute, Bedilia Kelly got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joshua Sheridan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gearroid Gillmour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
